+ Moms’ club: focusing empower new moms during the first year of their child. Every Wednesday 12:30 pm in room 213.

+ Bookstore:On the occasion of the Anniversary of H.H. Pope Tawadros, the bookstore offers a selection of books in English and Arabic by His Holiness.
+ Two important lectures: Fr. Luke Istafanous, priest of St. Mary & St. Mercurius Coptic Orthodox Church, Bellville, NJ and assistant professor of Clinical Psychology in New Jersey School of Medicine, will visit our church on Dec 8 & 9, 2017 to give two lectures on “Understanding our children’s Sex-Ed Curriculum” and “Understanding Intimacy in Christian marriage”. More details will be posted soon on the church website.
+ 7th Coptic Inter-parish Grad Fellowship: For the Grad Youth & Young Adults Theme: Culture, Faith & Tradition – Let’s not get it twisted! Speaker: Fr. + New 2-Year Servants Preparation Course: a new semester of the Discipleship Class has started. All who would like to serve in any capacity are welcome to join. All ages from Gr 10 and up, youth and adults alike, can join. Students will learn and engage in making presentation on interesting topics such as modern teaching techniques, how to answer modern movements and contemporary issues (apologetics), church dogma and history, comparative theology, introductions to Old and New Testaments, Coptic language and hymnology and other important subjects. The class is run every Friday at 7:00 pm. For registration and more detail, please contact Fr. Ammonius, Atef Soliman, Sandra Nazeer or Mary Shehata.

+ Hand Bell Festival “Ring in Christmas” will take place on Nov. 18 at St. Mark’s Cathedral. Will have 6 Handbell choirs from different churches for eastern GTA, along with Handbell soloist. It’s a great event to attend and to invite people to, doors open at 7:00 pm, concert starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available outside.

+ Bible Study every week in English on Monday at 8:30 PM at Chapel “characters of Genesis” + on Wednesday at 7:30 PM at culture centre of St Mark church “2nd epistle of St Peter” + and in Arabic on Wednesday at 8:00 PM at St Mark church “Hebrews”

+ St. Mark’s Arabic choir Invites all those who are interested to join practices every Thursday at 7:30 pm in the cathedral room 213. Please contact Fr. Kyrillos for further details.
 

+ St. Mark’s Coptic Museum is open today from 9:30 am to 12:45 pm

+ Fathers’ outreach Please contact the father who is responsible for your area according to the outreach map or any of the fathers of the church if you have not been visited by one of the fathers this year and would like a father to visit you and your family. English Bible Study

English Bible Study will start a new series on “Characters in the Book of Genesis” for 13 weeks. There will be two groups that you can attend either one, Wednesdays and Sundays.
When: Wednesdays 7:30PM or Sundays 8:30PM
